Suggest an investigation
Decision Atlas is interested in practical questions where better investigation could reduce uncertainty, prevent avoidable mistakes, or help people move forward with greater clarity.
A useful suggestion should explain:
- the practical question
- the decision affected by the question
- who faces the decision
- why the question matters
- what information appears unclear, conflicting, or unreliable
Report a possible error
If you believe a Decision Atlas publication contains a factual error, unsupported claim, broken source, meaningful omission, or interpretation that should be reconsidered, please report it.
Include:
- the investigation title
- the statement or section in question
- why you believe it may be inaccurate
- supporting evidence or a source, when available
- whether you believe the issue changes the conclusion

Share relevant evidence
Readers, practitioners, researchers, and subject-matter experts may know of evidence that was not included in an investigation.
Relevant submissions may include:
- primary-source documents
- research papers
- technical standards
- official records
- measurements or test results
- documented practitioner experience
- evidence of conditions under which a conclusion succeeds or fails
Submission does not guarantee inclusion. Evidence will be evaluated for relevance, reliability, scope, and materiality.

Decision Atlas may not respond individually to every submission, but meaningful evidence and credible error reports will be evaluated.
A standard for useful criticism
Decision Atlas welcomes criticism that helps clarify the question, improve the evidence, expose an unsupported assumption, identify a contradiction, or correct the conclusion.
Useful criticism should aim to improve the investigation rather than merely express disagreement.
Corrections, challenges, and better evidence are part of the work.
